EVENTS
- SPRINGFEST, Ocean City – Due to the expected high winds, rain and tidal flooding in the Inlet Lot, Springfest will be closing at the end of Saturday at 8 p.m. Concert with Starship featuring Mickey Thomas Saturday night has been CANCELED. Additional updates will be provided as soon as possible. Springfest Transportation services are canceled for Sunday, March 8
- Delaware CAN and Delaware NORML have decided to postpone the Global Cannabis March: Rehoboth Beach one week. The new date is next Saturday, May 14 at 3pm
- BETHANY BEACH – the concerts scheduled for tonight and tomorrow at the Bandstand are canceled
- The MERR Institute Yard Sale has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 14th between 8:00 a.m. and noon at the same location, 801 Pilottown Road, Lewes.
- The Milton town-wide yard sale has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 14th.
- The Lewes British Motorcar Show scheduled for Saturday has been canceled.
- Nanticoke Indian Tribe Heritage Day Saturday at the Nanticoke Indian Museum is canceled.
- Dover Days parade and festival canceled, BUT some area activities will still be taking place – tours will be held at Legislative Hall, Woodburn, and the John Bullen House. The Wesley Church will be holding their annual pancake breakfast and bake sale – doors open at 7am and they finish serving at 12:00pm (noon).
- The Historic Lewes Farmers Market will relocate Saturday to the Lewes Elementary School parking lot, 820 Savannah Road.
SPORTS
- The DIAA Unified Track and Field Team State Championship Meet has been postponed until Wednesday May 11th at Caesar Rodney High School, starting at 3:00 p.m.
